BFB Basketball Federation of Bhutan

The Basketball Federation of Bhutan (BFB) is the national governing body for basketball in the Kingdom of Bhutan. Historically the Basketball Federation of Bhutan was introduced in Bhutan in the late sixties. The development of basketball took giant steps in the seventies as His Majesty, the 4th Druk Gyelpo played the game with great talent. The basketball federation of Bhutan was affiliated to the Bhutan Olympic Committee in the year 1983 and affiliated to the federation international Basketball Association (FIBA) in the same year.
